资源简介:
Description:The mammary gland is a crucial organ in dairy cows, playing a vital role in milk production and lactation. Chromatin accessibility and transcription factor binding are key regulatory mechanisms that govern gene expression in mammary epithelial cells. This study employs ATAC-seq (Assay for Transposase-Accessible Chromatin with high-throughput sequencing) and CUT&Tag (Cleavage Under Targets and Tagmentation) to investigate the epigenomic landscape of bovine mammary gland tissue.By integrating these two powerful techniques, we aim to:Identify open chromatin regions that are accessible for transcriptional regulation.Map transcription factor binding sites and histone modifications to understand gene regulatory networks in mammary gland development and function.Compare chromatin states under different physiological conditions to reveal potential epigenetic mechanisms affecting lactation and milk synthesis. This research will provide valuable insights into the regulation of milk production at the chromatin level, contributing to the genetic improvement of dairy cows and potential applications in livestock breeding. The generated dataset will serve as a valuable resource for understanding bovine mammary gland biology and epigenetic regulation in livestock species.
