Database of real past incidents in which building features arrested collapse propagation

NOTE: This version has been updated. Please refer to Version 2 [link] for the most up-to-date information. List of real building collapses in which diferent types of features (e.g. shear cores, voids, staircases, reinforcement splices, vertical offsets, irregular spans) contributed to arresting collapse propagation. In addition to providing relevant information on the specific building features that were involved in each case, the database also contains basic contextual information on the collapse and on the structural type. Relevant references used as a basis to analyse the role of specific building features are also provided. Note that the reference number used for each case corresponds to the reference number of the same case (when applicable) in a more general database of building collapses that was previously shared (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.8120390).
