Exploring the Landscape of Library Service Quality in Academic Libraries: A Bibliometric Study

This study aims to measure the publishing and citation trends of Library service quality (LSQ) literature in academic libraries based on 741 publications indexed in the Web of Science. The findings revealed that research productivity peaked in 2021, while citations peaked in 2014. The USA and China were the most productive countries, while the University of South Africa and the University of Illinois were the leading institutions. Mahmood K. and Onyancha OB were the most productive authors, each with six papers. The Journal of Academic Librarianship was the most prominent publication source. The published literature focused on information services, COVID-19, and academic, digital, and public libraries.
