Pinus pinaster, phenology and phytochemistry

Data of the paper Host seasonal variation and life-history evolution of winter pine processionary moths, by Carla S. Pimentel, João Campôa, Mariana Estorninho, Quelvina Fortes, Rita Simões, Helena Patrício, Otília Correia, Cristina Máguas, Isabel Miranda, Teresa CalvãoThis data refers to the seasonal variation of foliage, both phytochemistry and phenology in maritime pine Pinus pinaster, in 4 forests located on the west coast of Portugal: SP near Nazaré; WPN near Osso da Baleia.; WPS1 near Melides; WPS2 (Peninsula de Setúbal) (see maps on Fig.1). The .csv files include phytochemical data obtained in 3 ocasions (July, October and February), and the reference 1stC and 2nd on the location, correspond to analysis on recently flushed and 1 year old foliage. Methods to obtain this data is discribed in the paper.The file FenologiaPinaster.xlsx, and data refers to the timing of leaf flushing, determined as the first observation of leaf tips detaching from the bud axis.
