1. Biological Sample Collection: Quantitative detection of metal elements (e.g., Cd, Pb) in urine was performed using Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), with quality control throughout the collection process. Chronic disease-related information and B-mode ultrasound diagnostic information were collected according to chronic disease endpoint determination rules. Demographic information and lifestyle factors were also collected, with data consistency ensured. 2. Data Processing: Basic correlation analysis was conducted to obtain the associations and association strengths between urinary metal concentrations and common chronic diseases among the Miao, Dong and Bouyei ethnic groups in Guizhou Province, including hypertension, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, obesity, fatty liver disease, hyperuricemia, metabolic syndrome, abnormal bone mass, chronic kidney disease, nephrolithiasis and cholelithiasis. Mixture exposure models including QGcomp, WQS and BKMK were used to explore the associations between mixed metal exposure and various chronic diseases. Mediation effect analysis was applied to test whether inflammatory markers, oxidative stress markers or metabolic disorders mediate the association between specific metal exposures (e.g., Cd, Pb) and the occurrence of chronic diseases. 3. Data Application: This dataset can be used to identify "key metals" significantly associated with chronic diseases and their high exposure thresholds. High-risk subgroups can be delineated by combining ethnicity, gender and lifestyle factors, and a "urinary metal exposure - chronic disease risk" hierarchical response mechanism can be established. It can also be applied to routine health education, primary healthcare institution management and scientific research translation.
