Lab 3 - Data set 3-Net Sweep in the grassland .

At York University on Wed Sept 30, 2015 at 2:45pm, the weather was partly sunny and the temperature was between 15-17 Celsius. Laboratory 3 datasets were done in the grassland located near Danyl Woodlot . Group one member consists of Loyal Tran, Anisa Amin, James Quach, Iiman Darman and Sajid, Alvi. But Anisa Amin, James Quach, and Liman Darman worked together to generate the data collected for dataset 3. Iiman Darman and Anisa Amin laid out the transect of 10 meters which is a constant length for this dataset 3 and James Quach used the net to sweep over the length of 10 meters in grassland area, this was replicated 10 times. And James and liman counted the number of insects to determine the total abundance and named the species to differentiate the types of insects to determine the RTUs values. Anisa Amin recorded the data on a note book so it could be generated on excel spreadsheet later. These roles changed for each member so everyone could get a chance to use the sweep net to see the different types of species within the grassland which helps generate the RTUs value.
