资源简介:
This project studied 97 adults living with sickle cell disease (SCD) in the US. Data was merged from two parent studies (INSIGHTS Study NCT02156102; Living with SCD in the COVID-19 Pandemic Study NCT04417673) in order to focus on changes over time in resilience, perceived stress, emotional distress, and physical and mental health. Results showed that the psychological resilience of our study cohort had significantly decreased (0.19, p=0.01) over time. Resilience during the pandemic was associated with better mental health and physical health and lower perceived stress and emotional distress.
