KPDES Outfalls in Kentucky

Pursuant to Section 402 of the Clean Water Act, Kentucky is delegated to issue Kentucky Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (KPDES) permits to all point source discharges (coal, storm water including Phase I and II programs, sanitary, municipal, industrial, Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs), Combined Sewer Overflows (CSOs), individual home residences, etc.) of pollutants to waters of the Commonwealth.
