Dataset for "Cadmium toxicokinetics differ between forest and city colonies of the ant Temnothorax nylanderi (Foerster, 1850)"

This file contains the data used for the article "Cadmium toxicokinetics differ between forest and city colonies of the ant Temnothorax nylanderi (Foerster, 1850)", published in Ecotoxicology, https://doi.org/10.1007/s10646-026-03053-4. In this study, we compared the temporal kinetics of cadmium accumulation and elimination in colonies of the ant Temnothorax nylanderi from two habitats: unpolluted (forest) and polluted (city). We collected ant colonies at one city park and one forest site outside the city, in two regions: Paris and Lyon. Under controlled laboratory conditions, ant colonies were given cadmium-contaminated food during a contamination phase, followed by normal uncontaminated food during a decontamination phase.
