The 24 June 2026 Venezuela Earthquake Sequence: A Multifault Mw 7.6 Supershear Rupture on the Boconó and San Sebastián Faults Constrained by Near- and Far-Field Observations, The Seismic Record. (xx), 1, doi: 10.1785/0320260036. This dataset contains ground-acceleration recordings of the 24 June 2026 Mw 7.6 northern Venezuela earthquake, recorded by five stations of the FUNVISIS National Accelerographic Network. The earthquake involved rupture along the Boconó and San Sebastián fault systems, providing valuable observations of ground motion associated with a complex, multifault strike-slip event. The dataset comprises recordings from stations AGOL, ALLV, CARV, OENF, and OINP. Four stations are located within or along the margins of the Caracas valley, whereas AGOL is situated southwest of the Boconó rupture segment. CARV and ALLV are located on the metamorphic basement of the Cordillera de la Costa, while OENF and OINP are situated on the sedimentary deposits of the Caracas basin, allowing comparisons between contrasting geological settings. We have also plotted them in the original REFTEK format in the *.jpg. files among with the reports in pdf format These recordings were used in the associated study to constrain the earthquake source and investigate near-fault ground motion, rupture directivity, and evidence for supershear propagation. They also allow examination of the pronounced, long-duration velocity pulses obtained from the acceleration records and of differences in ground response between rock and sedimentary sites. The data are made available to support reproducibility and further research on earthquake rupture processes, seismic hazard, and earthquake engineering.
