Hydrolyzed Chicken Feather Protein as a Dietary Supplement in Juvenile Nile Tilapia. aquaculture metagenome

This project investigates the effects of hydrolyzed chicken feather protein (HCFP) as a dietary supplement in juvenile Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). Juvenile fish (mean weight = 14.65 g) were assigned to five experimental diets containing varying levels of HCFP (0, 25, 75, 150, and 225 g/kg), labeled as T1, T2, T3, T4, and T5, respectively. The study evaluates growth performance, feed utilization, immune response, and gut microbiota composition to determine the potential benefits of HCFP in aquaculture feed formulations.
