Air, snow and ground temperature observations at three sites near Chokurdakh, Russia in 2013

Our research area is located near Chokurdakh (71N, 148E) in Northeastern Siberia, Russia, about 150 km inland from the Arctic sea coast along the Indigirka River. Three study sites were selected for air, snow and ground temperature monitorings at the height of +1.50, +0.30, +0.20, +0.10, -0.01, -0.05, -0.10, -0.20, -0.30, -0.40, -0.50, -0.75, -1.00, -1.50, -2.00, -3.00, -4.00, -5.00, -5.50, -7.00 and -10.0m, respectively; Boydom is the northernmost tundra site among our study sites along the Indigirka River, Kodac is situated in a forest-tundra landscape 8 km south of Boydom, and Verkhny Khatistakh is a larch-dominated forest near a northern end of tree line.本研究区域位于俄罗斯西伯利亚东北部的乔库尔达赫（Chokurdakh，北纬71°，东经148°）附近，地处因迪吉尔卡河沿岸，距北冰洋海岸约150千米的内陆区域。本次研究选取3个监测站点，分别在+1.50、+0.30、+0.20、+0.10、-0.01、-0.05、-0.10、-0.20、-0.30、-0.40、-0.50、-0.75、-1.00、-1.50、-2.00、-3.00、-4.00、-5.00、-5.50、-7.00及-10.0米的高度（深度）开展空气、积雪及地表温度监测；博伊多姆（Boydom）是沿因迪吉尔卡河分布的研究站点中最北侧的苔原监测点；科达克（Kodac）位于博伊多姆以南8千米处的森林苔原景观带内；上哈蒂斯塔赫（Verkhny Khatistakh）则是一处以落叶松为主的森林，地处林线北缘附近。
