This dataset collects balance sheet data across all accounting periods from periodic reports of financial industry companies listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX), based on a balance sheet template formulated by integrating International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS); 2. Both consolidated financial statement data and parent company financial statement data are included in the dataset, and the most recently released data is selected for each identical reporting period; 3. The measurement currency for each entry in this dataset follows the currency chosen by the corresponding listed company; 4. The dataset is updated on a quarterly basis.
