资源简介:
These data are from a study aimed at establishing current and potential vulnerability to soil water erosion across hilly landscapes in Popayán - Colombia and the department of Matagalpa – Nicaragua. Annual soil loss was determined through the use of the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE), which is constituted by five factors: Soil erodibility factors (K), rainfall erosivity index (R), crop / vegetation and management factor (C), conservation practice factor (P) and topographic factor (LS). This equation enabled us to quantify the effect of soil cover and long-term adaptation strategies on soil conservation.
