资源简介:

his dataset supports the study “Mining-related pneumoconiosis surveillance in Brazil: temporal reporting patterns, spatial concentration, and data completeness, 2010–2023.” It contains a deidentified record-level analytic dataset derived from open microdata from the Brazilian Notifiable Diseases Information System (SINAN), national and state formal mining-employment denominators derived from the Statistical Yearbook of Occupational Accidents (AEAT), aggregate tables, publication figures, source-provenance records, a data dictionary, and the complete analysis code. Mining-related notifications were identified using a prespecified hierarchy based on employer economic activity and, when that field was unavailable, core mining occupations. The archive documents temporal patterns, spatial concentration, and completeness of occupational-surveillance fields. SINAN files for 2010–2022 were final and the 2023 file was preliminary when retrieved on August 15, 2026. Notification-to-employment ratios are surveillance indicators and must not be interpreted as disease-incidence rates because notifications may include former and informal workers, whereas AEAT denominators represent current formal employment relationships.
