Verified Off-Site Emergency Responses by Industrial Firefighters

This dataset documents verified off-site emergency responses by industrial fire departments in support of municipal or regional emergency operations. Each entry represents a documented incident in which an industrial fire brigade or industrial emergency response organization assisted a public fire department outside of its primary facility or jurisdiction. Entries include the incident location, industrial agency involved, incident type, municipal agency assisted, and one or more publicly accessible sources confirming the response. Incidents were included only where an external source explicitly documents off-site response, mutual-aid support, or operational assistance by an industrial fire organization. Sources include publicly available news reporting, official agency communications, and FOIA-disclosed records where applicable. The dataset is intended to support research, policy analysis, and documentation of the operational roles performed by industrial firefighters beyond facility-based response. It is not intended to be exhaustive, and inclusion reflects verification based on available public records at the time of compilation.
