Development of a microbial enrichment for sugarcane bagasse breakdown. enrichment

The aim of this study was to develop and characterize one degrading microbial enrichment of lignocellulosic biomass using mangrove sediments as inoculum of microorganisms and sugarcane bagasse pretreated as sole carbon source aiming at the biotechnological potential of these enrichments in the production of second generation ethanol.
