Objective analysis of the image quality of planning CT and its impact on radiosurgery

Dataset used for the objective evaluation of image quality of a SOMATOM go.Sim CT scanner at the ABC Medical Center, Observatorio Campus, Mexico City, Mexico. The dataset includes the CT scans and the resulting image quality metrics, such as MTF, NPS and DQE. CTCatphan.zip This dataset contains 10 scans of the CTP404 Module and selected slices of the CTP486 Image uniformity module of the Catphan500 phantom, acquierd for each reconstruction kernel sampled in this study (19 kernels, 190 scans in total). These scans were used to measure the 2D Modultation Transfer Function (MTF) and 2D Noise Power Spectrum (NPS) using the corresponding modules. MTF2D_X.mat, NPS_X.mat, DQE_X.mat These Matlab datasets contain the resulting 2DMTF, 2D NPS and 2D Detective Quatum Efficiency (DQE) values of every kernel studied.
