Determinants of MetS, albuminuria, and high FRS risk in relatives of HD patients.

Values expressed as odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (CI). For MetS: adjusted for age, sex, smoking, betel nut chewing, total cholesterol, LDL-C, uric acid, eGFR, and albuminuria. For albuminuria: adjusted for age, sex, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, smoking, betel nut chewing, total cholesterol, HDL-C, LDL-C, log-transformed triglycerides, uric acid, eGFR, and MetS. For high FRS risk: adjusted for betel nut chewing, diabetes mellitus, log-transformed triglycerides, LDL-C, uric acid, eGFR, albuminuria, and MetS. Abbreviations are the same as in Table 1. The FRS is used to identify individuals categorically as “low” (<10% of 10-year risk), or “high” risk (≥10% of 10-year risk).
