The data consist of marine mammals (cetaceans and pinipeds) registries
obtained during sightings during navigation to and from Cape Shirreff. Data
also consist of observations of cetaceans in Cape Shirreff waters, during the
period of permanence in land, with the purpose of contributing to the knowledge
of the distribution of the different species, as well as their relative
abundance, in the zones in which they have been sighted.
