In this study, we investigated the effects of two commonly consumed insects, Protaetia brevitarsis seulensis larva (Coleoptera) and Bombyx mori pupa (Lepidoptera), on the growth of beneficial gut microbiota. The study suggests that consumption of these insects can enhance the growth of beneficial gut microbes, potentially leading to improved overall health.
