Rare bioactive actinomycetes isolated from unexplored heritage site are essential for natural product discovery. Streptomyces sp. SMS_SU21 isolated from the Sundarbans mangrove ecosystem showed various bioactivities such as antimicrobial, antioxidant and biosurfactant production etc.To further the investigation of the mechanisms of this activities, we present the genome sequence of the strain SMS_SU21.
