Based on the global gridded actual evapotranspiration data derived from the Global Land Evaporation Amsterdam Model (GLEAM), this study developed global annual and seasonal actual evapotranspiration datasets spanning 1980 to 2016, and analyzed their evolutionary characteristics. The product-related files are in Shapefile (shp) format, which are primarily utilized to investigate the evolutionary mechanisms of global terrestrial water cycle fluxes.
