The aim of the current study was to investigate how various levels of WWOX, AP-2a and AP-2? affect signaling pathways in bladder cancer cell lines. Global transcriptome analysis using CAGE-seq was conducted. Overall design: The study was based on three bladder cancer cell lines i.e. RT-112, HT-1376 and CAL-29 for which overexpression of genes encoding WWOX, AP-2a and AP-2? was induced by lentiviral transduction. Investigated variants included: Control (treated with lentrivirus blank controls); native WWOX with AP-2a overexpression; native WWOX with AP-2? overexpression; WWOX overexpression with native AP-2a/?; WWOX and AP-2a overexpression; WWOX and AP-2? overexpression.
