SELEX (systematic evolution of ligands by exponential enrichment) and RNA Immunoprecipitation (RIP)-seq revealed that CIRBP directly binds the 3’UTR of Atp5g3. Using purified recombinant human Cirbp (His-tagged) protein to pull down single-strand oligonucleotides harboring 30-nt random sequences (randomly inserted bases 227 one after another), the affinity-selected RNAs was Illumina sequenced.
