A price survey of 100g of grilled pork across all supermarkets nationwide revealed that the average price in October 2024 was 240 yen. Over the period from January 2015 to October 2024 (a span of 118 months), the month with the highest price for grilled pork within the national supermarkets was October 2022, at 308 yen, while the month with the lowest price was June 2016, at 186 yen. The price difference between the peak (October 2022) and the lowest (June 2016) price periods for grilled pork across the national area was 122.0639 yen.
