Spatial transcriptomics processed data of adrenocortical carcinoma

Organism: Homo sapiens Tissue: Adrenal cortex Samples: 1 adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC) sample Experimental design: Frozen tissue sample was cut into 10-μm section, then processed using the Visium Spatial Gene Expression kit (10x Genomics). Adrenal tissue permeabilization condition was optimized using the Visium Spatial Tissue Optimization Kit (10x Genomics), which was found to be ideal at 18 min. Section was stained with H&E (Haematoxylin and eosin, Dako) and imaged using a Lamina Slide Scanner (Perkin Elmer). Dual indexed libraries were prepared using the Library Construction Kit with the Dual Index Kit TT Set A (10x Genomics) and sequenced on a NextSeq 500 platform (Illumina) with paired-end sequencing. Data processing: The demultiplexing, barcoded processing and gene counting were performed with the Space Ranger software v1.3.1. File format and content: The dataset includes the image files and filtered expression matrices generated by Space Ranger. Filtered expression matrix is saved as 3 files (***_barcodes.tsv.gz, ***_features.tsv.gz, and ***_matrix.mtx.gz) where *** is replaced by the sample name. Image files are saved as 6 files (***_tissue_hires_image.png, ***_tissue_lowres_image.png, ***_aligned_fiducials.jpg, ***_detected_tissue_image.jpg, ***_scalefactors_json.json, and ***_tissue_positions_list.csv) where *** is replaced by the sample name.
