资源简介:
This dataset is based on research presented at the VI International Conference on Research in Visual Arts (ANIAV), focusing on collective identities in contemporary artistic practice. The accompanying table provides a comprehensive analysis of various artist collectives, emphasizing how collective identity is formed and transformed in the context of artistic creation. Unlike traditional approaches that prioritize individual authorship, this research highlights the concept of shared artistic identity, exploring how the internal and external dynamics of collectives shape their creative production and cultural impact. The dataset not only details the key characteristics of each collective but also examines their values, collaboration strategies, and defining social contexts. It is important to note that the selection of collectives included in this dataset follows specific criteria established by the study’s conceptual framework. Only those collectives explicitly formed with the purpose of creating works and actions under a unified identity were considered, intentionally dissolving individual authorship and signing their output collectively. This methodological focus excludes many other relevant collectives that, while working collaboratively, retain individual identities and authorship. This decision does not diminish their contributions but reflects the objectives and methodological boundaries of this research. This version of the dataset is an adaptation and translation into Spanish of the original dataset titled Replication Data for: Collective Identities in Artistic Practice: A Dataset on Artists' Collectives, published in English on Harvard Dataverse (https://doi.org/10.7910/DVN/DGSSZZ). In addition to translating, expanded explanations and clarifications have been added in certain columns to make the data more accessible for a Spanish-speaking audience. Designed as an educational and research resource, this material serves as a valuable tool for academics, students, and professionals interested in better understanding collective artistic practices. Simultaneously, it invites reflection on how these practices challenge and expand traditional notions of creation, authorship, and artistic representation.
