Impacts of Riverine Heatwaves on Rates of Ecosystem Metabolism in the United States

These two time series are the main output of the manuscript entitled Impacts of Riverine Heatwaves on Rates of Ecosystem Metabolism that is in review with the journal Limnology and Oceanography Letters. The csv file "wtemp" is a daily mean water temperature (in degrees celcius) time series for 328 streams and rivers throughout the United States. The csv file "hw_metab" is a time series of riverine heatwaves and metabolism (GPP, ER, and NEP) metrics for 48 of the 328 sites that were ultimately utilized in this study. Version 2 has the metabolism estimates updated to remove GPP and ER if either were biologically unrealistic for a given site and day.
