Lossless Compression of Radiographs Dataset for comparison of lossless compression schemes

<strong>Remark</strong><br>On this page, you can access data that has been used in several scientific studies. In order to make the results comparable, these datasets are available for other non-commercial evaluations. <strong>Description</strong><br>This data set contains anonymized radiographs from the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the RWTH Aachen University Hospital. The images were selected arbitrarily from clinical routine. The 1,200 images are divided into 10 categories by forming combinations of five anatomic regions and two imaging techniques: primary digital and secondary digitized. Thus, the images are sorted into ten subdirectories. These images were used to evaluate image compression algorithms.Complete 1,200 images from the body regions: hand, head, pelvis, chestin frontal view, and chest in lateral view, each region with primary digital and secondary digitized imaging technique, 120 images per category
