Sequential photon count profiles from 0.3-m and 1.0-m receivers of a single-line-extracted pure rotational Raman lidar. Each data file (h5 type) corresponds to photon counts from a receiver. It has three channels that are respectively the elastic channel, rotational-quantum-number J=4 and 14 Raman channels. In each channel, the photon count data are expressed as an array, e.g., pc_ch2[i, j] with i=0:1439 (1440 1-min profiles) and j=0:2047 (2048 30-m range gates).
