AnnonFruitTraits 1.0, a comprehensive dataset on frugivory-related traits for Annonaceae species worldwide

AnnonFruitTraits is a global database of frugivory-related traits for species of Annonaceae. The dataset was compiled from the PROTEUS database and includes 24 primary traits and two derived traits (megafaunal fruit syndrome and fruit conspicuousness). The final dataset has 26 traits for 2,266 species, representing approximately 90.5% of currently accepted Annonaceae species. This archive contains both the original trait matrix extracted from PROTEUS and the processed datasets used in the accompanying Data Descriptor.
