资源简介:
This series comprises the minutes, agenda, and correspondence of the Mental Health Program of the Executive Planning Management Group of the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) (VA 1048). The Mental Health Program group was responsible for bringing together the major mental health services of the RMH, Western [Footscray] Hospital and North West Hospital following the development of health care networks in 1995, and the move away from mental health institutional care. The group's purpose was to manage all aspects of the psychiatric service program including providing advice to the Psychiatric Services Branch of the Department of Human Services about any planning, policy and funding issues which would have an impact on the group's capacity to achieve service targets. Specifically, the group was responsible for: determining, monitoring and reporting on budgets for each component of psychiatric services; developing a workframe plan and training program to develop an appropriately qualified and experienced workforce; undertaking planning for service provision, new service development, and the distribution of services including capital works proposals; developing a quality assurance plan; and supporting and research on mental health issues.
