Paraquat Poisoning in Bangladesh Data set

Fatal self-poisoning with the herbicide paraquat has been a major global toxicology problem for decades in countries such as China and Sri Lanka, resolved only with bans. It is now becoming an emerging toxicological problem in India and Bangladesh. Although apparently common, few cases have been reported in the Bangladeshi literature.Data were collected in ten tertiary Bangladeshi hospitals serving more than 65% of the population. Data from December 2022 to December 2024 were collected prospectively from patient files. Data from 2014 to 2017 were collected retrospectively from hospital records.
