Nanopore sequencing identifies Borrelia miyamotoi as an unexpected cause of meningitis after B cell depletion

This project involves metagenomic sequencing of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) from patients with suspected central nervous system (CNS) infections. Using Nanopore sequencing and confirmation with Illumina short-read sequencing Borrelia miyamotoi was identified as the cause of meningitis in an immunocompromised patient.
