MODERN TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING LISTENING

This article analyzed the role and importance of modern technologies in teaching listening comprehension. The introduction highlighted the relevance of the topic and the importance of listening skills in language learning. In the methods section, Uzbek and international literature on multimedia tools, mobile applications, podcasts, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and interactive platforms were analyzed. The results section described the effectiveness of modern technologies in developing listening skills, increasing students’ motivation, providing opportunities to work with authentic materials, and supporting independent learning. The discussion section examined the advantages, challenges, and prospects of using technologies in teaching listening. The results showed that modern technologies play an important role in improving the quality of listening instruction, developing students’ communicative competence, and creating an interactive learning environment.
