资源简介:
The goal of this study is to investigate the gene expression changes that occur upon knockdown of the Beadex (Bx) gene in Drosophila hemocytes to uncover its molecular role in regulating immune function. Beadex, a LIM-only transcriptional co-regulator, has been implicated in developmental processes such as neuronal differentiation and crystal cell formation, but its contribution to immune regulation in hemocytes remains largely unexplored. By analyzing transcriptomic alterations following Beadex knockdown, this study aims to identify downstream targets and signaling pathways influenced by Beadex, particularly those involved in phagocytosis, inflammation, and antimicrobial responses. Understanding these changes will provide mechanistic insight into how Beadex orchestrates immune homeostasis in Drosophila and may reveal evolutionarily conserved regulatory networks relevant to innate immunity across species.
