Bonet et al 2021 RNAseq Data Series 1

1ul of an S. coelicolor spore stock was spotted onto a 100x15mm petri dish with 10ml ISP2 agar, resulting in agar approximately 2 mm thick. For interactions, 1ul of an interacting strain was spotted 0.5 cm away from the S. coelicolor spot. S. coelicolor biomass was collected after 5 days of growth at 30°C using a cell scraper. For the patches growing alone, the entire patch was collected and one sample consists of three whole patches combined. For the patches in interactions, only half of the patch, the side closest to the initiator strain, was collected and one sample consists of three half patches. Precaution was taken to not scrape up any of the interacting strain.In this data series, S. coelicolor interacted with Streptomyces SPB74, Streptomyces albus J1074, Streptomyces viridochromogenes DSM 40736, and Amycolatopsis AA4.S. coelicolor colonies grown alone served as the source of control RNA.In this data series, RNA counts from S. coelicolor in a given interaction were compared to RNA from the controls (eg. RNA from interacting S. coelicolor/RNA from control S. coelicolor colonies). The Figure_1_dataset_normalized_values.xlsx file contains the normalized log2 ratios for the dataset. The other tabs in this file also contain p values etc for each comparison.
