资源简介:

WOIVES is an ultra-widefield swept-source optical coherence tomography angiography (SS-OCTA) dataset developed for retinal vessel segmentation and quantitative vascular analysis. The dataset comprises 206 eyes from 152 participants and was acquired using a commercial SS-OCTA system with a single-scan field of view of 24 × 20 mm². The released OCTA images have a spatial resolution of 1536 × 1280 pixels. Retinal vessel annotations were generated using a two-stage human–AI collaborative annotation protocol. Initial vessel annotations were produced with the assistance of a SAM-based OCTA segmentation workflow and reviewed by five junior ophthalmologists, followed by expert correction and quality control by two senior ophthalmologists. WOIVES v1.0 releases probabilistic soft-label vessel annotations rather than binarized vessel masks, thereby preserving annotation uncertainty and supporting soft-label supervision, calibration-aware evaluation, and uncertainty-sensitive analysis. The dataset is intended to facilitate research on ultra-widefield retinal vessel segmentation, vascular topology preservation, small-vessel delineation, model calibration, and quantitative OCTA biomarker analysis. Subject-level identifiers are provided to support participant-level data partitioning and to reduce the risk of information leakage between eyes from the same participant. The release also includes the official subject-level five-fold cross-validation splits used in the accompanying study, together with metadata and documentation required for reproducible evaluation. Complete ocular biometric measurements are available for 177 of the 206 eyes and are included in WOIVES v1.0 to support secondary analyses of retinal vascular characteristics and their associations with ocular biometric factors. Detailed descriptions of the dataset organization, soft-label format, biometric variables, variable definitions, and recommended evaluation protocol are provided in the accompanying documentation. WOIVES accompanies the study entitled “An Ultra-Widefield Swept-Source OCTA Dataset and A Polar-Gated Mamba Network for Retinal Vessel Segmentation.” The dataset is released for research and reproducibility purposes under the license specified in this Zenodo record.
