Dataset for studying the stability of various odorants in canisters and Nalophan® bags

This data set describes the quantitative stability of a certain number of chemical products, in a vapor state, in different gas containers: Nalophan bags (PET bags) and canisters. Odorants were vaporized in canisters under a vacuum. The concentrations of each compound were determined using gas chromatography coupled with a flame ionization detector. The evolution of the recovery rates was traced over 96 hours. The stability of the odorants was also examined in Nalophan bags similar to the study done in canisters. However, instead of vaporizing the compounds directly in the bags, a specific volume of the already vaporized compound was taken from the respective canister and then introduced and diluted in a bag. The evolution of the recovery rates in the bags was traced over 4 hours. The results are diagrams representing the evolution of the recovery rate over time for each compound.
