Strigolactones (SLs) have been documented to be essential for overall plant architecture in intensive studies. However, the exact role of SLs in plant metabolism remains to be elucidated. To clarify the effects of SLs on rice metabolism and its molecular mechanisms, we performed transcriptomic profiling with rice mutants of SLs, including a biosynthetic mutant (d10) and an insensitive mutant (d14).Overall design:Leaves for RNA extraction were collected from seedlings grown in hydroponic culture for one month. Each sample was harvested from three individual plants and frozen in liquid nitrogen. Total RNA was extracted with a TRIzol reagent. After the construction of the sequencing library, we performed paired-end sequencing on an Illumina HiSeq X Ten platform. Two biological replicates were analysed for each genotype.
