During the period from January 2015 to December 2016 (a span of 24 months), the highest price for a thermometer in supermarkets across the nation was recorded in July 2015 at 2,127 yen, while the lowest price was in December 2015 at 2,074 yen. The price difference between the peak (July 2015) and the lowest (December 2015) periods for a thermometer across the national areas was 53.2716 yen.
