COVID-19 in Berlin, viral load in waste water after collection date and measuring point

Publication of the results from SARS-CoV-2 wastewater monitoring in Berlin for the locations Klärwerk Ruhleben, Waßmannsdorf sewage treatment plant, sewage treatment plant Schönerlinde and Berlin-Brandenburg airport. As part of wastewater monitoring, in cooperation with the State Office for Health and Social Affairs, the inflows of sewage treatment plants are analysed at regular intervals for residues of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The measurement results are then published via the Hygiene Monitor (software of the Berliner Wasserbetriebe) and additionally provided via a REST API. With the help of wastewater monitoring, trends in SARS-CoV-2 virus exposure in the Berlin population can be illustrated.
