BAOBAB

The projects include airborne, ground-based and ocean measurements, social science surveys, satellite data use, modelling studies and value-added product development. Therefore, the BAOBAB data portal enables to access a great amount and a large variety of data: - 250 local observation datasets, that have been collected by operational networks since 1850, long term monitoring research networks and intensive scientific campaigns; - 1350 outputs of a socio-economics questionnaire; - 60 operational satellite products and several research products; - 10 output sets of meteorological and ocean operational models and 15 of research simulations. Data documentation complies with metadata international standards, and data are delivered into standard formats. The data request interface takes full advantage of the database relational structure and enables users to elaborate multicriteria requests (period, area, property…).该项目涵盖了航空、地面和海洋测量、社会科学调查、卫星数据应用、建模研究和增值产品开发等多个领域。因此，BAOBAB数据门户能够提供大量且多样化的数据资源：包括自1850年起由运营网络收集的250个本地观测数据集，长期监测研究网络和密集的科学研究活动所产生数据；1350份社会经济调查问卷的结果；60个运营卫星产品和若干研究产品；以及10套气象和海洋运营模型及15套研究模拟的输出集。数据文档遵循国际元数据标准，并以标准格式提供数据。数据请求界面充分利用数据库的关联结构，使用户能够制定多标准查询（时期、区域、属性等）。
