FleetPy: Input Data for Chicago Case Study

This repository contains simulation data for simulation framework `FleetPy` for the case study of Chicago, Illinois.

After downloading the data and cloning the FleetPy repository (https://github.com/TUM-VT/FleetPy) the data can be used by

1) copying the content of this repository into the `FleetPy/data` folder, and

2) adjusting the FleetPy config file to use the corresponding data.

The demand data is based on the Transport Network Provider trip record data. The raw data is available at https://data.cityofchicago.org/Transportation/Transportation-Network-Providers-Trips-2018-2022-/m6dm-c72p/about_data.

This data uses TNC trips in the week of 06/06/2022 to 06/12/2022. The data is filtered to only include trips that start and end in Chicago city area.

The network is extracted from OpenStreetMap (OSM) data. The OSM data is filtered to only include the Chicago area.
