Argyll Biological Records Dataset

ABReC operates the biological records centre for VC98 Main Argyll and the Isle of Mull, with support from NatureScot. We also accept records from other parts of Argyll that lack records centres of their own. This dataset contains all the records we hold, apart from any acquired since our last NBNA upload. Records from all taxonomic groups are accepted. Taxonomic coverage is uneven but we make constant efforts to redress the balance by targeting under-recorded groups.

ABReC's predecessor and partner organisation LNHG started collecting records in 2007 and has done so continuously since then. Some members have supplied records dating back prior to 2007. Recording activity continues all year round. Virtually all records have a full date (DD/MM/YYYY).
