Grassland and Woodlot Experiment Data

The study was conducted by Shelly, Carmen, Dorsah and Navidip. The study was conducted at York University at the pond near the Osgoode Building, as the grassland and the forest nearby, on Monday October 20 2014 and Monday October 27 2014. Two sampling techniques, transect and quadrat, were used to retrieve the data. Carmen and Shelly retrieved the transect data, and Dorsah and Navdip retrieved the quadrat data. On October 20th, the grassland was observed using both sampling methods. The study was conducted in the afternoon between 2:30 to 3:30. The weather was cloudy, rainy and cold. The temperature was 12°C. On October 27th, the forest was sampled. The study was conducted between 2:30pm till 3:30 pm. The weather was slightly cloudy and sunny.
