This dataset contains the tax revenue of the State of Berlin in 2026. More information on taxes can be found on the website of the Senate Department of Finance.

Notes on the publication of Berlin tax revenue: The data on the tax revenue of the state of Berlin are collected and published monthly. Taxes are collected by the tax offices. The monthly reporting of tax revenue is standardized in the 16 countries according to a uniform procedure. These statistics are the basis for federal and state tax reporting and tax estimation. The table lists 25 tax types and distinguishes between four income powers: Provincial share of Community taxes, Provincial taxes, Municipal taxes, Municipal shares of Community taxes.

The data on tax revenue are collected by the Berlin tax offices and transmitted to the Senate Department of Finance. On the basis of the Fiscal Equalisation Act, the Decomposition Act and the Municipal Fiscal Reform Act, certain types of tax (e.g. fire protection tax or sports betting tax) are distributed and decomposed in parallel among the 16 countries in which the collection of the tax type takes place centrally by selected tax offices and not exclusively by the tax offices of the respective country. The Senate Department of Finance brings together all revenue data and publishes them on its homepage in the middle of the month after the reporting month.
