This dataset primarily contains multi-stage operational data and control data under two working conditions: dry state and wet state. The data was collected from simulation experiments of coal-fired power generating units conducted by Southeast University from 2023 to 2025 using the MATLAB/Simulink platform. During these experiments, step response and flexible intelligent control tests of the unit under various load conditions were simulated, and key operating parameters and control variables were systematically acquired. Specifically, the dry-state operational data covers multi-stage step processes ranging from 100% to 30% THA, while the wet-state operational data includes step changes from 15% to 50% THA. For the control data, ramp variation experiments were performed on the setpoints of output variables such as generating power and main steam pressure under both working conditions, utilizing both intelligent model predictive control and PI control strategies. The dynamic responses of corresponding input variables (e.g., fuel flow, valve opening) and output variables were recorded accordingly. This dataset thoroughly documents the dynamic characteristics and intelligent control performance of the unit across a wide load range, boasting high standardization and completeness. Its core value is to fully exhibit the full-operating-condition dynamic characteristics of coal-fired power generating units and the validation effects of intelligent control strategies.
