Single-Cell RNA Sequencing (scRNA-Seq) of Chinese Hamster Cell lines

We performed single-cell transcriptome sequencing (scRNA-Seq) on serum-free suspension-adapted CHO-K1, CHO-S, and a novel Chinese hamster lung-derived cell line (CHL-YN) adapted to serum-free medium. The resulting data were used to evaluate gene expression diversity, mitochondrial clonality, and endogenous viral expression. This study provides insights into cell line stability and supports future improvements in biomanufacturing.
